.. Welcome to our 2012 Retired Greyhound Show Micro Website ..

 

 

Thanks for taking a look at our micro website for our 2012 Retired Greyhound Show! As per usual the event will be part of the Stifford Village Show which is held yearly at the North Stifford Cricket Ground in Essex. This year is our fifth Retired Greyhound Show and will take place on Saturday the 16th of June 2012. If you are entering your dog into the show you will be able to register from 10am. Judging will start promptly at 11am. The entry fee per dog is £3 in advance, please complete one entry form for each dog you are entering, copies of the entry form can be obtained below. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Greyhoundhomer RGT’ to be received no later than the 8th of June 2012. You can also enter your dog on the day of the event up until 12 noon, the cost of entry on the day is £4 per dog.

 

Prize Rosettes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places plus a trophy to the winner of the Class. Unplaced Greyhounds also receive a rosette.

At the end of our Retired Greyhound Show, time permitting, we will run some fun classes which any dog can enter.

In addition to the Greyhoundhomer RGT stall selling Greyhound goodies and bric-a-brac there will be other stalls at the show, and entertainment including one or more live bands.

All funds raised by Greyhoundhomer RGT at the Stifford Show will go towards the care and Greyhound homing activities we are involved in.

The Cricket Clubs bar will be open so you will be able to get food and drink from the main hall.

A special prize will be given to the oldest dog and bitch in the show.

If you would like to enter one or more of your Greyhounds into the show, please click here to download the entry form, please complete one form for each dog you are entering. Once you have completed the form(s), please return it/them to Pat Philpot with your remittance (£3 per dog in advance). Cheques should be made payable to 'Greyhoundhomer RGT' and sent with the entry form to:
