But in others, the horn and rhythm sections support Fitzgerald’s styling in a manner that is decidedly swing.Although parts of the book were a bit disturbing, it is a very good story and the characters are well-written. His was an urbane and sophisticated capital, where one’s budget was unlimited, the hour was eternally twilight, and the sights to be seen included all things delightful, delicious and delovely. Once I read the first page, I was flooded by memories of this book, and as characters get introduced, more dots are connected. After an incident, Annie spends time recovering from it; following that, Damon hires Annie to act in his last movie, The Fertile Crescent.
