The opening accord of lemon and bergamot replaces the pineapple/apple of Aventus with some degree of success, but ultimately is the fragrances weakest link in its attempt to duplicate the same effect - though it should be noted L'Aventure, as a whole, doesn't have anywhere near the same quality of ingredients to work with. So let's state that this scent will please a passing person in a fleeting way, just as the expensive original almost everyone knows how to please and that independent of the fact that the scent that can be bought in the three-digit Eurone range also appeals to me, but does not tear me from my stool. I I went to work with low expectations and VIOLA out of nowhere as I'm standing in line at a team breakfast buffet, one of my female coworkers comes out of nowhere and says "You smell GOOD". This beats Club de Nuit Intense Man as a clone on the initial pineapple burst (whereas CDNIM is totally lemon) but CDNIM completely destroys this from about 15 minutes in, all the way until the end. It has the most beautiful opening of all the Aventus-y fragrances I own, including Montblanc Explorer.

Great alternative to Creed Aventus, longevity is not good as CDNIM LE or Afnan intense, maybe 5-6 hours, but scent is very high quality. As it stands, I have never even so much as been in the same room as a bottle of anything the house of Creed has ever produced. take Creed's Aventus, use lemony notes instead of smokey pineapple, and woody/nutty notes instead of a leathery birch note, and you pretty much have L'Aventure; a fresher take on the famed Aventus DNA, minus the spicy notes that some dupes have. Everyone was saying this is the best aventus clone and how it’s so beast mode but it was gone after about 4 hours on my skin. But there's no point to it because in just a few minutes this will be gone and you'll only have the CDNIM.

At this point, L'Adventure smells lovely, but it doesn't smell like my batches of Adventus (lacks the smokiness of my 2012 and the pineapple of my 2017).

This L'aventure In my opinion is a very nice scent, masculine but not offensive at all, really elegant.This is almost indistinguishable including the birch smokiness and with out the harsh citric opening of CDNIM.
