I love how Kerry Fisher draws you in to parts of the story like your right there in the mist of things. The whole thing is a low budget action-horror-sci-fi film, featuring some middle brow acting, decent practical effects, and- what seems like- a pretty straight forward storyline (at least at first). It can appear so, if like Octavia you've been in a long term relationship, family commitments and work can take over, leaving no time for fun.

But, most of all I love novels where the universal truths that inform the book are summed in a sentence or two, sentences that make you stop and think and wonder. As we only slept and changed in the cabin it was perfectly adequate, food was excellent wherever you ate, all drinks were free and staff were marvelous. Octavia is sure that it's going to change when he gets a new job - because he will get a new job eventually, right? Island Escape by Burasari offers the greatest escape, where life is celebrated, passion is pursued, and happiness is fully realized.I love books where you feel as though you really become involved with the lead characters and this was certainly the case for me with Octavia and Roberta. This story of Katie's journey to a happily ever after was so interesting, since it included a lot of information on the Isle of Man, a place I'd love to visit. I could really identify with Octavia and Roberta being of a similar age (okay a few years older, but just a few!
