More than any song, Sunflower set Weller’s course in the 90s, its sound a twitchy cocktail of Low Spark of High Heeled Boys-era Traffic and soul. Former Jam bass player Bruce Foxton will be joined by Russell Hastings and Steve Barnard at the Friar Street Venue for their show as 'From The Jam'. A routinely great artist, much of Sufjan's universal appeal comes from his skills as a gifted narrator, pairing personal musings on love and devotion with commentary on American culture, whilst welding folk and electronica, the ambient and existential.

Due to the ongoing uncertainty through the COVID-19 pandemic, the decision has been made to reschedule Paul's Italian tour dates from 2021 to September 2022. As the band's popularity increased, however, Weller became restless and wanted to explore a more soulful, melodic style of music with a broader instrumentation, and in consequence in 1982 he announced that the Jam would disband at the end of that year. On the B-side of A Solid Bond in Your Heart lurks Weller’s mea culpa take on the sudden demise of the Jam, the arrogance of youth and the perils of becoming the Voice of a Generation. Paul is very happy to announce the amazing guest artists that will be supporting him for the Forest shows this Summer!
